reviewing: KEDAI SEBELAH

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

TAW's Delicious Guide
Kedai Sebelah. SS6/20A Kelana Jaya, Selangor

Whaddupp my fellow crispy-crepes! Right now I am going to review one of my personal art gallery café favourite; Kedai Sebelah located in SS6/20A Kelana Jaya, Selangor. The idea behind this café were based on arts and gallery combined with a diner/ restaurant. Kedai Sebelah is the name of the café because its located right next to a shop named ‘Kedai’ (KS and Kedai has the same owner) hence the name is Kedai Sebelah. May I add that this café is in my hometown. Hehe…

Nasi Goreng Embah Special is yummy
Kedai Sebelah is famous for their out-going, welcoming, artsy-fartsy, unique workers and staffs. The café is decorated with pictures, drawings, doodles, arts and crafts from the staffs at Kedai Sebelah and Kedai. They served pastries, desserts and savoury dishes from opening till closing. They also have their own soft ice-cream. I loved the atmosphere there because it’s calm, homey and cosy, perfect for relaxations and calmness. Sometimes, they have underground local bands, solo artists came and performed at night, well mostly on Thursday night from 8 p.m. – 12 p.m. for free.

Aglio Olio Shrimp is to-die-for
Iced Choco, Bacon Sandwich, French fries
Since I’ve been there lots of times, my first favourite dish is Nasi Goreng Embah Special. It has diced potatoes, fried egg, herbs fried chicken, and Malay traditional ‘keropok’. Next, Bacon Sandwich served with French Fries is another one of my favourite treats simply because it is light, great amount of bacon (chicken salami slices) and the crunchiness of the lettuce and tomatoes. Aglio Olio Shrimp at Kedai Sebelah is affordable as well as very delightful and the shrimp is fresh and has lots of flavours. You guys can ask for extra chili flakes if you’re into deep spicy.

Don't forget to check-out Kedai Sebelah official social accounts, okay:

Assalamualaikum.
