The café is spacious and very comfortable for a study group and doing some assignments.

Me doing my blog at THE LIBRARY
My Matcha Heaven Green Tea :)

THE LIBRARY serves up caffeine (duhh), tea, iced-blended, shakes, hot/ cold drinks to clear down your throat after having their foods. Food that they have here is some savory dishes, sweet treats, and pastries that are need to enter your mouth. One of its main attraction were their huge, long, clourful, comfy sofa + huge fluffy pillows. the staffs is so friendly and welcoming.

The very fabulaous Pink Guava
The ever humble Iced Chocolate

I’m gonna suggest 3 drinks that is a must try at THE LIBRARY. First is the Matcha Heaven Green Tea. It’s a ice-blended green tea, with a whipped cream on top. I taste so good.. almost as good as Starbucks green tea. Second is the Iced Chocolate. Let me tell you guys, it is malted chocolaty goodness. It’s pure cocoa so it is a bit bitter but hey, that’s why it taste great. Lastly, the Pink Guava. It’s always pretty in pink. The color is from a real strawberries and the taste is fantabulaos. Wahh!! So girly meh, but hey, guys are also into their Pink Guava.

reviewing: PASAR MALAM TAMAN IMPIAN

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Hey hey hey B-fork and G-spoon! Today review is all about pasar malam (night market) but not just any pasar malam, it is Pasar Malam Taman Impian yow! Personally, sometimes I prefer to go to night market rather than the mall. Terkejut? Hahaha.. don’t be because there are many more out there that agreed with me. Raise your hand peeps! The reason is that I can basically find myself buying things or food that are cheap and tasty almost the same when I’m at the mall- minus the cheap part.

Me eating a Murtabak Ayam

I always felt excited whenever I went to night market. There’s plenty of cheap not to mention assorted foods, funky clothes, buskers at the corner and you will always find something new whenever you’re there. Pasar Malam Taman Impian is where I usually go during my stay here in Kuantan since my bachelor house is near to it. This pasar malam is open every Friday night from 4.30 p.m - 10.30 p.m.

Dorayaki; the cute little treats
The Murtabak Ayam that I adore

PMTI is great because they have a Coconut Shake Special which is one of my all-time favourite drink. The coconut flesh is healthy and contains a lot of water and it is good for your body okay. It is semi-sweet and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top is another thing that I love about it. Next is the Murtabak Ayam. A classic Middle-East snack that Malaysians love, myself included. It is not too oily and the portion is suitable for one person to chow-it-down and the minced chicken meat is juicy. For a sweeter side, I always bought Dorayaki. Sound cute right? In fact, it look just cute as it sound too and the taste is great. It has 3 flavours; Chocolate, Peanut and Strawberry.

reviewing: BURGER KING

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Burger King. Kuantan, Pahang

Howdy partner-in-crimes! For today review, it is all about fast food but not just any fast food, it's Burger King. I choose one its outlets in Kuantan, Pahang. I believe many of you have heard about it but only few have tried. Not gonna blame you guys for it because me myself once skeptical towards Burger King simply because I'm so attached with others over-rated fast food such as McDonalds, KFC and A&W. I hope that I will be able to 'persuade' you guys into going to Burger King after reading this.

All of my favourites in Burger King
My hiding-happy-to-eat face. YOLO!

Burger King's restaurant outlet in Kuantan is huge, plenty of tables and chairs available as well as the parking area. This is a perfect place for study, reading a book and catching up with friends. When it's not a peak hour, the service is face and the workers clean the dining area regularly. They have many selection of deals, sets and combos. All of the Burger King's food is delicious and hearty.

Delicious, juicy, & tasty treats
Everytime I come to Burger King, I always order the BK Single BBQ Grilled Onion Beef which is a set that comes with Cheezy Fries, Corn and Soft Drinks. I don't normally ate beef burger because I am more of a chicken burger kind of person but BK has made me do it! Damn you Burger King for making me love beef burger! Can I just say that BK also probably the first fast food restaurant that serve cheese fries? Whatever it is, it is so good and cheezy-glory. Oh! Let's not forget the dessert; HERSHEY'S Sundae Pie which is sweet, decadent, chocolaty and the best way to end your meals.

TAW's Delicious Guide
I love the smell of the WS Roti Telur
My favourites at Warung Salina

Warung Salina is famous for their variety of roti canai, nasi lemak and nasi berlauk. Open on weekdays only from 8.30 a.m. - 6 p.m. They provide great services in terms of the ordering, food and drinks. Eventhough not many people know about the stall, Warung Salina still received many great feed-backs from the customers, myself included. Most of the customers is from the neighborhood, workers as well as school and college students.

TAW's Delicious Guide
WS Roti Telur is fluffy as a cloud
Everyone loves WS's roti canai

My favourite dishes from Warung Salina is their roti canai. First is Roti Planta. I like the sweetness from the great amount of sugar, the butteryness of the planta and hard-part of the bread. Everything is just right with this one. Next, Roti Telur. Their Roti Telur is not too oily like you would usually get from other stall, and it's fluffy and just egg-tastic! Another one that has grabbed my attention is their Roti Sardin. Once it get to the table, you guys will see this almost sort of murtabak-look-a-like. It is square and packed with sardines fillet. I recommend you the Kuah Dhal + Sambal for the dipping.

reviewing: SAMUDERA

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Samudera. Indera Mahkota 8 Kuantan, Pahang.

Hey there my glory-goodness! Ever heard of 'Nasi Kukus' (steamed rice) you guys? Well if you don't, I just wanna say that I feel sad for you because nasi kukus is basically a steamed rice and accompanying it is kuah kari, sambal and herbs fried chicken. It has been Malaysia's favourite since the early 70's if I'm not mistaken. Regarding the history of that, I am going to review a nasi kukus at SAMUDERA in Indera Mahkota 8 Kuantan, Pahang.

Nasi Kukus SAMUDERA
Finished it all cause it's so good

SAMUDERA opens everyday except on public holiday and has captured many hearts by their scrumptious nasi kukus and nasi kerabu despite been operating not for more than 2 years. If you guys are planning to come here (you better be), I suggest that you come on the afternoon after lunch hour because that's when there are few peoples and faster service. SAMUDERA restaurant is always clean and the staffs are friendly and approachable.

The herbs fried chicken is superb!
Well, for this post, there is nothing that I would like to recommend you guys to try other than their Nasi Kukus. Just like any other nasi kukus, it comes with curry, sambal, cucumbers and herbs fried chicken. But what makes SAMUDERA stood out from the rest is that all of the bits and pieces of it is really good. The steamed rice is aromatic, the curry is flavourful, the sambal is sweet-spicy and the star of the dish is the herbs fried chicken. It is tender, moist and the skin is very crunchy. You can taste all of the herbs and spices in every bites.

MCPB is well known for its cheap mee calong and others affordable local dishes. The workers are very polite and outspoken. You can basically just make a conversation with them and you will feel like at home talking to your aunts and uncles. I guess besides mee calong, their hospitality is their attraction as well. Mee Calong Ayam for me
Rojak Mee Ayam that I love

Mee Calong Ayam is my favourite dish from the MCPB simply because the mee is tender, the broth is aromatic and you can taste all the herbs and the chicken meat is moist and juicy. Rojak Mee Ayam is a must try dish and you won't regret it. On top of the mee you have cucumbers, boiled egg, sagu, lots of thick juicy chicken meat and it is all covered in creamy savory Peanut Sauce, Before you leave the place, I suggest you to order a plate of Keropok Lekor which is fried to perfection to complete your meals.

The PHI restaurant in Paradigm Mall is small but cozy and you kinda feels at home when you enter because of the atmosphere as well as the furniture and decorations. The workers are very welcoming and friendly and will serve you guys with a smile on their face. Let me talk about the services, it is quick like seriously, I’m not kidding. You guys just have to wait for about 8 minutes for your foods to arrive.

This is the Best Taco in Town
Waffle Fold-over is a great sweet treat

Okay okay okay I’m just gonna start out with my all-time-favourite spaghetti in the world; House Spaghetti that comes with Garlic Breads. OMG! This spaghetti is insanely good in every bite because it’s tender but not soggy. The Bolognese sauce is rich and thick of tomatoes goodness. And there are loads pieces of chicken meat in the sauce; just the way I love it. Next is the Best Taco in Town. The taco bread is crispy, the veggies are fresh and crunchy, the chicken meat at the bottom is freaking good. Your meal is not complete without having a Waffle Fold-over. Choose your ice-cream; chocolate or vanilla or both and it is top with lots of M&M’s and chocolate syrup. What can I say; it is a feast fit for a king.

Kedai Sebelah. SS6/20A Kelana Jaya, Selangor

Whaddupp my fellow crispy-crepes! Right now I am going to review one of my personal art gallery café favourite; Kedai Sebelah located in SS6/20A Kelana Jaya, Selangor. The idea behind this café were based on arts and gallery combined with a diner/ restaurant. Kedai Sebelah is the name of the café because its located right next to a shop named ‘Kedai’ (KS and Kedai has the same owner) hence the name is Kedai Sebelah. May I add that this café is in my hometown. Hehe…

Nasi Goreng Embah Special is yummy
Kedai Sebelah is famous for their out-going, welcoming, artsy-fartsy, unique workers and staffs. The café is decorated with pictures, drawings, doodles, arts and crafts from the staffs at Kedai Sebelah and Kedai. They served pastries, desserts and savoury dishes from opening till closing. They also have their own soft ice-cream. I loved the atmosphere there because it’s calm, homey and cosy, perfect for relaxations and calmness. Sometimes, they have underground local bands, solo artists came and performed at night, well mostly on Thursday night from 8 p.m. – 12 p.m. for free.

Aglio Olio Shrimp is to-die-for
Iced Choco, Bacon Sandwich, French fries
Since I’ve been there lots of times, my first favourite dish is Nasi Goreng Embah Special. It has diced potatoes, fried egg, herbs fried chicken, and Malay traditional ‘keropok’. Next, Bacon Sandwich served with French Fries is another one of my favourite treats simply because it is light, great amount of bacon (chicken salami slices) and the crunchiness of the lettuce and tomatoes. Aglio Olio Shrimp at Kedai Sebelah is affordable as well as very delightful and the shrimp is fresh and has lots of flavours. You guys can ask for extra chili flakes if you’re into deep spicy.

Upstairs Cafe. SS12/1B Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Olla! Did my darling-food-lovers missed me? I hope so cause I am going to review one of my favourite café which is Upstairs Café located in SS12/1B Subang Jaya, Selangor. It got its name mostly because the café is basically located on the top floor of the row of shops. The café operating from 10a.m – 11p.m. selling pastries, cakes, pastas, sandwiches and of course, what are cakes without coffee and tea?

Me just minding my own business
Roast Beef Sandwich & Salmon Quiche

I personally love the ambience of the place. You guys can choose whether to dine inside or out on the balcony. It’s homey and they have really good music to accompany your visit. Upstairs Café play mostly instrumental jazz/ blues pieces and I don’t think they even play acoustic covers of mainstream music you hear on the radio. As for their service, they tend to be more observant when it isn’t a full house but still, they are generally very welcoming and friendly.

Now as for the foods, my personal favourite is the Roast Beef Sandwich that comes along with their own-made French Fries. The beef is tender, moist and melts in your mouth every times it’s enter while the lettuce and tomatoes are crunchy and fresh. Up next is the ever tasty; Salmon Quiche. It’s packed with salmon fillets combined with bunch of herbs and spices, along with a secret special sauce. Not bad of a savoury pie for small tummies. Last but not least is Cream of Mushroom Soup that comes with Garlic Breads. Let me simply it in 3 tempting words; Thick, Creamy and Sensation. It is heaven in every sip.
